Polar Vortex? Siberian Express? No Problem!

The last two winters have been brutal here in Illinois. You can call it "Polar Vortex" or "Siberian Express" or whatever crazy term the weatherman decides to throw at us that day. All we know is that it is darn cold! So how do our grapes fare is these frigid temps? They are nicknamed "The Polar Bear Gang" so they say bring it on Mother Nature.

For one night every July, nearly 100 of Chicago's finest chefs, restaurants, and beverage purveyors descend upon Lincoln Park. They fire up their grills, shake up cocktails, and, in our case, throw bubbly on ice - all for the good of the Green City Market.
