When EMBARC-Chicago asked us to be a part of their inaugural fundraiser, we couldn't say no. Not only was it a chance to work with ISC friend, Christina Noël (photog extraordinaire - I mean, if you can't look good in a Christina Noël photo, you should probably go slap your mama, not to mention, she's just a darned nice person) but also the opportunity to help bring cultural experiences to kids in some of Chicago's most isolated and underprivileged neighborhoods. And did I mention that this was being held at the Joffrey Ballet? Hello! Win-Win-Win.
After watching an original performance by the Ballet, patrons turned their hungry and thirsty eyes to where we, along with Koval Distillery & Goose Island Brewing, were waiting in the 4th floor dance studio. We popped corks, the bubbles flowed, and the Joffrey dancers mingled with the crowd of about 150. (Can I take a moment to say how mind-blowing dancers' bodies are? It's ridiculous. Don't believe me?
